ReplayRaven (ClipEngine)
ReplayRaven (ClipEngine) is a private tool run by Justin H in the Netherlands. It cuts long videos from clipping campaigns and the operator's own brand videos into short vertical clips for the operator's own accounts on YouTube, Instagram, X (@replayraven) and TikTok.
It is not a public service. Nobody can sign up, and no one besides the operator can connect an account or publish through it.
How publishing works
Every clip waits for the operator's approval before it is posted. Approved posts on X and Instagram that nobody pays for go out through each platform's official API, using a self-hosted copy of the open-source scheduler Postiz on the operator's own server. The operator connects those accounts through the platform's own sign-in screen, so ClipEngine never sees a password. TikTok posts go out through PostPeer, a posting service connected to the TikTok account through TikTok's own sign-in. If TikTok does not accept a public post that way, the clip arrives in the account's TikTok inbox as a draft and the operator publishes it in the app. The operator publishes sponsored posts on X and Instagram and posts for Vyro campaigns by hand in the platform's app, and does the same for YouTube until Google has reviewed ClipEngine's use of the YouTube Data API.
ClipEngine publishes videos and reads the statistics of its own posts (views, likes and the number of comments). It does not like, follow, comment, repost or send messages, and it never posts the same clip twice on one account.
